Description
The Franklin Township Police Department is seeking qualified applicants who are non-PTC certified to send through the Gloucester County Police Academy as a Class II Special Officer. Selected candidate(s) will attend GCPA from August 2024 to December 2024 in a co-mingled class. The certification upon successful completion will allow the candidate to apply for a full waiver to the Police Training Commission.
Responsibilities
- Attend GCPA from August 2024 to December 2024
Qualifications
- Must be between 18-35 years old at time of appointment
- Must be a resident of the State of New Jersey and a US citizen
- Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Must be able to successfully pass a physical fitness test, drug screening, background investigation, medical evaluation, and psychological evaluation.
