Sergeant Nicholas Carr

I grew up in Clayton and graduated Clayton High School in 2002. I then attended Gloucester County College and Rowan University graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in 2007. I have been employed with the Clayton Police Department since 2007. I served in the patrol division from 2007 until 2011. I was then transferred to the Detective Bureau in 2011 until 2019. In 2022, I was promoted to Sergeant in the Patrol Division. During my time with the department I have served as a L.E.A.D Instructor, Terminal Agency Coordinator, Bicycle Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Resiliency Coordinator, LGBTQIA+ Liaison, Emergency Medical Technician, CPR Instructor, Gloucester County CART Team, and the Gloucester County Mobile Deployment Team.
